With an extended range of motion, the ergonomic Continental® system can also be positioned to the side of the chair, which is less intimidating for some patients.

Traditional Delivery System
Pivoting holders on the traditional control head help streamline access to your instruments and allow you to position them precisely where you want them. A thin profile and smooth, rounded covers simplify cleaning for fast and efficient turnaround time.

Assistant's Arms
The long assistant's arm option for A‑dec 500 uses five adjustable pivot points to articulate both vertically and horizontally which includes rotating instrument holders that pivot independently and offer a number of different configurations. The result is an exceptional range of motion and practically unlimited positioning for vacuum instruments, syringe, and integrated accessories like a curing light.

The short assistant's arm option helps improve instrumentation positioning with four adjustable pivot points. The short arm has no vertical adjustment, yet still makes an excellent choice for any practice that wants instrumentation easily within reach.

Touchpads
A‑dec 500 series touchpads streamline functionality by consolidating touch surfaces and offering convenient operation of various features. The deluxe touchpad is an excellent way to expand functionality while streamlining operations. In addition to providing one touch surface for chair, dental light, and cuspidor functions, it also serves as a convenient command center for controlling your handpieces, integrated accessories, and a number of other electrical devices (may require A‑dec relay modules). It also offers endo-mode functionality, as well as independent programming for two operators.

The standard touchpad controls chair, cuspidor, and dental light functions. Two optional accessory functions (a1, a2) are available on systems without a cuspidor (may require A‑dec relay modules).

Self-Container Water Bottles
Waterline maintenance is much simpler with the new A‑dec 500 2-liter water bottle. Unlike other 2-liter bottles, it offers a shorter, rounder shape thats more durable and fits in most treatment room sinks. The bottle includes an integrated pickup tube to reduce cross-contamination, plus a quick-disconnect fitting for easy installation and removal. And on chairs with delivery and support systems, you can choose to display the water bottle or keep it hidden from view.
