Space: as A‑dec´s deepest cabinet, the console requires the most operatory space, yet offers greater flexibility with three available widths, four available heights, wash stations, and unique storage solutions.

Delivery: available with a round, pivoting left/right worksurface and offers two styles of instrument delivery (A‑dec 541 Duo and 545 Assistant´s Instrumentation). A flat-panel monitor can also be delivered from a sliding, track-mounted arm.

Technology: offers the widest range of storage options designed to store and deliver ancillary devices at the 12 o´clock position: from equipment drawers, CPU storage, and slide‑out shelves to base accessory panels, swing‑out shelves, and bifold door access. The 5580 includes the necessary infrastructure to support the delivery of monitors and keyboards from a central location. It can also be configured to include a programmable clock/timer and a soft-white task light.

Storage: offers the widest range of storage options, including equipment and interior drawers; adjustable, swing‑out, and slide‑out shelves; slide‑out tub holders, bifold door access and CPU storage. An available midsection storage area with flip‑down door can conveniently hide small equipment and supplies from view. Pass‑through and non‑pass‑through upper storage adds flexibility with glass shelves for more strength and better support than wire racks.

Dispensing: is available with glove/tissue dispensers for lower door and drawer storage modules. A conveniently located dispensing module for glove/tissue and cup/towel/mask dispensers is also available above the wash station.

Cleaning: can be configured with one or two wash stations, which offer knee‑activated faucets; solid surface, stainless steel, or porcelain sink packages; chrome or white fixtures; and a number of solid surface, Chemsurf, or laminate countertop color choices.
